Indications for Long-Term Oxygen Therapy are Resting Pao2 ❮55 mmHg or oxygen saturation ❮88%, Resting Pao2 of 56 - 59 mmHg in the presence of cor pulmonale and polycythemia. Since oxygen is also a drug, it requires careful prescription.
