X Rays

These produce images of bones and internal tissues on film or digital media. Chest radiographic techniques play a major role in the detection, diagnosis, and serial evaluation of thoracic diseases.

It is used in the evaluation of acute and chronic lung diseases , assessment of patient’s respiratory symptoms, evaluation and monitoring of treatment, screening for asymptomatic diseases in patients at risk, in monitoring patients with occupational hazards exposure, preoperative evaluation of surgical patients and as the initial imaging study in patients with lung cancer and other tumours.
